Kovena began with a simple idea: travel payments should be as seamless as the journeys they enable. Len Cordiner, a seasoned entrepreneur and founder of a leading Hong Kong–based travel technology group, and Founder/Director of Hotel Link Solutions, saw an opportunity to simplify how travel is managed behind the scenes. He joined forces with Jamie Collins, a stalwart of the Australian payments industry, and Sam Rutledge, whose engineering expertise had long been focused on optimising travel management systems.

United by deep experience across travel, payments, and technology, they set out to remove the complexity from the back end of travel, bringing together global payments infrastructure, intelligent technology, and industry insight so hospitality specialists can focus on what they do best: delivering exceptional guest experiences.
